Program Overview
The Certificate of Completion (CCL) in HVAC Residential Installation and Service Technician is designed to provide entry-level training in the areas of heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration (HVAC) systems, electricity, electronic controls, and general repair. Students will have the opportunity to learn skills necessary to assess and solve problems quickly. A Certificate of Completion (CCL) in Commercial Air Conditioning/Refrigeration/Facilities, an Associate in Applied Science (AAS) in Air Conditioning/Refrigeration/Facilities, and a Certificate of Competency (CCT) in HVAC Residential Installation and Service Technician are also available.

In the Required Courses area, the options for OSH105AA, OSH106AA or proof of OSHA 30-hour card must be the in-person format. Completion of the District Placement Exam in Mathematics is required before the start of the Residential and Light Commercial Air Conditioning program.
