Program Overview

AZNext and ASU is pleased to offer Computer Aided Design for Engineers and Technicians, as a Certification course. This course is designed for students and working professionals who want to upskill to achieve expertise in computer aided design (CAD) software. Kickstart your CAD knowledge by learning core Fusion 360 workflows. Explore 2D sketching, parametric solid modeling, assembly creation, product rendering, file sharing, file management, and more. Whether you're new to CAD or just starting out with Fusion 360, gain realworld skills by exploring the design and production of a product with complex geometry.

You'll practice by creating and assembling parts using core parametric modeling techniques, rendering the design, and exporting files for 3D printing. The program is accessible to people with no prior CAD experience and has no prior educational requirements. The course is aimed at candidates who have a current role in design and manufacturing, interest, or need to develop foundational knowledge in manufacturing design.

What You Will Receive

Upon successfully completing the course the participant will earn a certificate from Coursera, as well as a digital badge of completion certificate from AZNext.

Program Timeline:

The program consists of online modules including readings, exercises. These sessions can be timed flexibly to accommodate working schedules.
